Joseph “Joe” Zwirko, PA-C, brings over 15 years of hands-on experience to the field of orthopedic care. Board-certified and highly regarded for his clinical skill and approachable manner, Joe specializes in orthopedic surgery, urgent care, and emergency medicine.

He earned both his Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies and his Bachelor’s degree in Health Science from Springfield College, where he built a strong foundation in comprehensive, patient-centered care.

Joe has spent much of his career treating a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions—from acute injuries and fractures to sports-related trauma. His expertise includes fracture management, casting, suturing, joint injections, and assisting in orthopedic surgical procedures. He has worked in both fast-paced emergency departments and orthopedic urgent care settings, always striving to deliver efficient, compassionate care.

He is a proud member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA) and the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons (AAOS), and remains committed to advancing his knowledge to better serve his patients.

Whether helping someone recover from an injury or navigate long-term orthopedic concerns, Joe’s focus remains the same: delivering high-quality care that helps people stay active and feel their best.

Tamer Bahgat, PA-C, is a board-certified physician assistant with over 20 years of experience in orthopedic surgery, trauma care, and emergency medicine. Known for his calm demeanor and thoughtful approach, he is dedicated to helping patients heal, move better, and get back to doing what they love.

Tamer earned his Master of Science and Physician Assistant Certificate from Springfield College and holds an Associate degree in Medical Laboratory Technology from George Washington University.

His clinical expertise includes orthopedic injury evaluation, surgical assistance, joint injections, fracture management, and radiographic interpretation. Throughout his career, he has worked in high-acuity settings such as level-one trauma centers, operating rooms, and emergency departments—bringing experience, skill, and compassion to every patient interaction.

In addition to his civilian medical work, Tamer serves as a Major in the U.S. Army National Guard, with over two decades of service in both the Massachusetts and Connecticut Army National Guards. His military background has further shaped his ability to respond effectively in emergency and trauma situations, both in the field and in clinical practice.

Deeply committed to the health and well-being of his community, Tamer continues to provide exceptional musculoskeletal care throughout Western Massachusetts.

Timothy Rice, PA-C, is a seasoned and board-certified physician assistant with more than 20 years of experience in orthopedic surgery, trauma care, and urgent care medicine. Known for his steady presence and clinical precision, Tim has built a career focused on high-quality musculoskeletal care across both outpatient and trauma settings.

He earned his Physician Assistant Certificate from Springfield College and holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from Westfield State College—educational experiences that laid the groundwork for his deep knowledge of orthopedic medicine.

Tim’s expertise spans the full spectrum of orthopedic evaluation and treatment. He performs joint aspirations and injections—including ultrasound-guided procedures—assists in surgeries, and provides expert fracture care, splinting, casting, and laceration repairs. His experience includes work in busy orthopedic practices as well as level-one trauma centers, where accuracy and efficiency are critical.

With a strong focus on diagnostic imaging and clinical decision-making, Tim brings a thoughtful and thorough approach to each patient interaction. His commitment to delivering clear, compassionate care has made him a trusted provider throughout Western Massachusetts and Connecticut.
