Joseph V. Zwirko, PA-C

Orthopedic Physician Assistant

Joseph Zwirko is a highly skilled and board-certified physician assistant specializing in orthopedic surgery, urgent care, and emergency medicine. He earned his Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies and a Bachelor in Health Science from Springfield College in Massachusetts.

Joe has over 15 years of experience providing expert care in outpatient and inpatient orthopedics, fracture management, casting, suturing, joint injections, and surgical assistance. He has worked extensively in orthopedic urgent care and emergency departments, focusing on musculoskeletal injuries, trauma, and sports medicine.

He maintains professional memberships with the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA) and the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons (AAOS). Joe is committed to delivering efficient, patient-centered musculoskeletal care in Western Massachusetts.

Tamer Bahgat, PA-C

Orthopedic Physician Assistant

Tamer Bahgat is a board-certified physician assistant with over 20 years of experience in orthopedic surgery, trauma care, and emergency medicine. He earned a Master of Science and a Physician Assistant Certificate from Springfield College, complemented by an Associate degree in Medical Laboratory Technology from George Washington University.

Tamer’s clinical expertise spans orthopedic injury evaluation, surgical assistance, joint injections, fracture management, and radiographic interpretation. He has worked extensively in level-one trauma centers, operating rooms, and emergency departments, providing advanced musculoskeletal care.

A dedicated military medical officer, Tamer has served in the Massachusetts Army National Guard and Connecticut Army National Guard for over two decades, including active duty in the U.S. Army. He holds the rank of Major and has specialized in emergency medicine and trauma response.

Committed to delivering exceptional patient care, Tamer remains focused on improving musculoskeletal health in Western Massachusetts.

Timothy B. Rice, PA-C

Orthopedic Physician Assistant

Timothy Rice is a board-certified physician assistant with over 20 years of experience in orthopedic surgery, trauma care, and urgent care medicine. He earned his Physician Assistant Certificate from Springfield College and a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from Westfield State College.

Timothy has extensive expertise in evaluating and treating orthopedic injuries, performing joint aspirations and injections—including ultrasound-guided procedures—and assisting in surgeries. He also provides fracture care, laceration repairs, and applies splints and casts in both outpatient and level-one trauma settings.

With a focus on delivering exceptional musculoskeletal care, Timothy continues to provide expert orthopedic evaluation, surgical support, and advanced diagnostic imaging interpretation throughout Western Massachusetts and Connecticut.
